Our Story

MYA Collection was founded in 2017 by Dimitra Nika. MYA is an independent resortwear brand based in Athens, Greece. Dimitra’s journey began when she decided to leave her corporate career in order to fulfill her dream of working independently and following her passion for creativity. Influenced by her travel experiences, she conveys a sense of beauty and freedom to every modern woman, inviting her to explore her world. Dimitra’s ambition is to offer romance and confidence through every design, satisfying every woman’s hidden desires and creating pieces that are worn with as much love as they are made.

Designed to instill a sense of love, beauty, and freedom, every MYA piece evokes eternal optimism and is meant to be worn while creating memories. MYA is inspired by the ancient Greek muse called “Maia,” the eldest of the seven nymphs of the Pleiades constellation and a symbol of beauty. The month of May, a season of rebirth, nature, and flowers, was named after Maia, celebrating the spring and the summer to come.

MYA’s philosophy, specializing in prints for casual and in-house designs, is based on affordable luxury, designed for the modern woman. The assertive woman who walks through the city center full of confidence, ready to conquer new goals and destinations.

Our pieces are uniquely designed and manufactured in Greece. All patterns are proudly designed and sampled by MYA.
